1 In the place where you
are now, imagine shoots of bamboo growing up through the floor. Watch them grow
until they entirely fill up your surroundings immersing you in a lush forest. If
you are inside, the floor beneath you becomes dirt and the ceiling opens up to
sky, but otherwise everything else is still there.
2 Now get up and walk
into the forest. Continue walking until eventually you leave behind all vestiges
of your first environment until it is just the bamboo forest around you. Take
in the atmosphere of this forest.
3 Being in this place
makes you think of someone who is gone now, who you will never see again. All
you have left of them is what they gave you; their vibrational impact on you.
4 As you walk you come
upon a ray of light shining through the treetops. Stand in this light and
access what it is offering you. This light bears the same energy, the same
vibrational qualities, of the person who is now gone. Standing in this light
makes you feel the way they made you feel only in a more potent and
concentrated form; the clarity of absence.
5 Next you discover a
magnifying glass. In what context do you find it? What do you do with it? This
is not a normal magnifying glass. Looking through it allows you to scrutinize
the world with their eyes. You are seeing the world as they would see it, with
their beliefs and their inclinations. It causes you to think thoughts that they
would think about this environment.
6 The next thing you
find is a scale. Take your desire to be with that person again and transform it
into some kind of physical object. Create several of these objects, each one
representing a different aspect of the relationship you had with them that you
desire to experience again. Place each one on the scale. What happens to each
one when it comes into contact with the scale?
7 As you continue on, you
come upon a cairn. How big is it? How many rocks are there and what kind?
Dismantle the cairn stone
by stone. Between each stone is a slip of paper or something thin enough to be
hidden between the rocks. Each slip is an artifact from a different culture and
or time period. Furthermore, each slip represents an important relationship the
person you are remembering has had. Describe each one. Keep these slips of
paper and move on.
8 Now you come upon a
group of people. Who are they and how do you respond to them? After this initial
encounter what you will ultimately end up discussing is the concept of love
languages, that is, what do others have to do in order for you to feel loved?
What actions do you associate with love versus what others associate with love?
Together you make symbols to represent your different ways of expressing love. Draw these symbols on the slips of paper from
the cairn. Describe this scene as it plays out.
9 When this is
concluded a tiger suddenly wanders into the area. Describe the tiger. This
encounter with the tiger ends in death for you, and perhaps for the others as
well, but how these deaths occur is open to interpretation. What happens? Imagine
the experience of death as detailed as possible.
10 Your death is immediately
followed by a kind of lucid dream. Within this lucid dream you steadily awaken
to yourself wading in a river in the middle of a bamboo forest. The water is a soothing
mineral mixture of a warmish temperature. A light layer of steam hangs over the
surface. The water is knee deep to waist deep in places, and may be much deeper
in other places. You cannot see much below the surface and your footing is
uneven. The swiftly rushing water gives a potential for instability, so you
work your way forward carefully. How do feel about this? What draws you to push
forward down the river?
11
Up ahead the stream
ends in an impressive waterfall. Mist from the waterfall drifts over the scene.
Around you are people
meditating on rocks that stick up out of the water. They face the waterfall.
Something is illuminating the curtain of water from the other side. It is a
conscious light that lights up the waterfall and it is beaming telepathic
messages to the people who are meditating. Attempt to tune in and receive what
is being broadcast. What is the message?
1 An invisible
gathering
2 The freedom to just
be
3 An invisible path
4 Accessing your blocked
intentions
5 True friendship
6 The weight of
connection. How much does it “matter”?
7 An intersection of
invisible paths
8 Understanding perfect
timing
9 Clarity out of
contrast
10 Embracing the
mystery
11 The distance to possibility
