Resonant Skylines
Using the following
prompts, recall a memory. Explore the associations you have with that
memory. Return to that time and see what
aspects of that experience your intuition guides you back to.
The prompts will ask
you to recall a time when you felt this, or experienced that. You can
methodically work back through your memory looking for times you had that
experience. Look through each stage of your life so far, or through the past
years, or months, or days, or hours.
Once you pinpoint it,
explore the associations that form from this chain of memories linked by a
common feeling or state of being. Practice the feeling until it builds
momentum, swelling within you. Have a spatial
sense that the feeling triggered by the memory chain inhabits a certain space 3-dimensionaly,
then transform that space into a sphere. The easiest way to do this is to
visualize a crystal ball or snow globe that contains the memory chain but if
you want to go more abstract with it you can. You can shift in and out of the
memory, switching to and from the point of view of the you inside the sphere to
the you that observes from the outside. When you have succeeded in stabilizing the
memory in spherical form, ignite a source of illumination within it so that it
is lit up from the inside. What aspects of the memories shift now that is has
been set aglow? Now release the sphere and let it float up into the sky like a
lantern.
Recall:
Voices that uplifted you
Eyes that recognized
you
Touch that guided you
Growth that relieved
you
Things realized
Things answered
The places you went to
for stillness and expansion
The struggles of others
that resonated the most with you
The times you felt joy
in the face of limitation.
The goals you were most
driven to pursue and why, and what the pursuit of those goals actually resulted
in.
Sensing someone wishing
they could express more of who they really are.
Choosing vulnerability
in order to move forward.
Times you and another
were inspired by the same thing.
Times you realized
where and why someone saw beauty in the world.
Sensing that you are a
valuable asset to a universal plan.
Feeling indestructible,
untouchable by harm, because of what you know you are delivering into this world
through your seeking.
Foreign Heaven
In this part, you will
establish memories and associations just like before, only this time, imagine
that each scene is linked by a network of doors, allowing people from each
memory to explore the other memories and bump into each other. You can even move
objects around, or swap the elements of the memories among each other in any
way you can think of. How does this play out?
Begin by recalling the
memories and associations, then go back and mix up elements. When you are done
and you have watched these new scenarios of exchange play out, imagine a stream
of water that flows through all the scenes, linking them together.
Recall:
A time you were the
recipient of unconditional acceptance
A time you were able to take a short cut and
instantly realize your intentions for action without going through a process.
A time you made a relevant
contribution to someone’s life and felt grateful to yourself as a result.
A time you awakened to
an unsolved mystery
A time you felt
connected even in isolation
A time you realized that
a struggle was actually an opportunity for growth and discovery.
A time you spoke
truthfully and clearly about a difficult topic and others did the same.
A time you found
someone who shared the same sense of purpose as you.
A time someone saw past
the limitations of your mind and forgave you for your weakness.
A time you felt an
uplifting presence from someone, or they felt it from you.
A time someone showed
you the way
A time someone acknowledged
there was potential for beneficial exchange between you, in spite of the fact
that you and they live in absolutely different worlds, in states of being and
mind so different that it makes you aliens to each other.
Imagine the qualities
of the person you could share these memories with.
